The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge
The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge, once a separate and privately owned restaurant, was established in 1996, shortly after the Inn at Great Neck opened. In 2012, the owners of the Inn at Great Neck took over The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge. The restaurant now has the same enduring commitment to service and hospitality as the hotel, ensuring sophisticated fare and professional service is part of the overall guest experience both at the Inn and at the restaurant.
The name was derived from a contest held by the Inn at Great Neck. Since the restaurant is located in Great Neck, New York, the majestic animal with a “great neck” seemed to be a fitting name, hence The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge was christened.
The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge serves traditional American Cuisine. Fine dining selections such as seafood, steaks, pasta and chicken are served, while the lounge offers popular delights such as tuna tataki, napa salad, coconut chicken and the English burger to name a few. Open to the public, the restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an inviting atmosphere.
In-Room Dining
The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge services the hotel’s In-Room Dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In addition, a late-night menu and early morning continental menu are also available. All requests are met in a timely fashion.
Private Affairs
The Giraffe Room Restaurant and Lounge may be utilized for both private and semi-private affairs.

The Hotel’s Restaurant now has a brand new beer tap system with six taps; offering guests and visitors alike a variety of cold beer; with the majority coming from local microbreweries. In addition the Giraffe Room Restaurant, Bar and Lounge will provide customers with an assortment of both domestic and imported bottled beer.
The Inn at Great Neck’s Giraffe Room Restaurant, Bar and Lounge will now be offering Sunday Brunch every week of the year (excluding holiday weekends). Sunday Brunch will be offered between 12:30 pm and 2:30 pm. The price per person is $29.95 plus tax and gratuity.
